Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 24 August 2026
My commitment
I want All Voices Counselling to feel as welcoming, accessible and inclusive as possible.
I recognise that people have different needs, circumstances and ways of communicating and that accessibility is about more than simply being able to navigate a website. It is also about creating a counselling space where you can participate in a way that feels manageable and appropriate for your unique needs.
All Voices Counselling means what it says: every voice deserves to be heard, held and respected.
This website
I have aimed to make this website as clear and accessible as possible by:
- Using clear, readable typography and appropriate colour contrast
- Keeping navigation simple and consistent
- Designing the website to work across mobile, tablet and desktop devices
- Using clear and straightforward language wherever possible
- Providing different ways to get in touch
I recognise that no website will be accessible to everyone in exactly the same way and that there may be things I have missed.
If you experience difficulty accessing any part of the website, using the contact form, or navigating the site with a screen reader or other assistive technology, please let me know. Your feedback can help me identify areas where the website could be improved.
Accessibility within counselling
My counselling practice is currently offered exclusively online, though I hope to move into in-person sessions in the future. I am happy to talk with you about reasonable adjustments that may make sessions more accessible or comfortable for you.
Depending on your needs and what I am able to offer, this might include adjustments to:
- The pace or structure of sessions
- How we communicate with one another
- The way information is shared or explained
- The use of breaks during sessions
- The practical arrangements around accessing online sessions
- Session reminder messages
- Other aspects of the counselling process that may support you to participate as comfortably as possible
You do not need to know exactly what adjustment you need before raising it with me. We can talk about what might help and consider together what is possible.
Please feel able to raise accessibility needs during your initial consultation, first session or at any point throughout our work together. You can also contact me before booking if you would like to discuss whether my practice is suitable for your needs.
A person-centred approach to accessibility
My Person-Centred approach means that I don't expect everyone to engage with counselling in the same way.
I will aim to listen to what you need rather than making assumptions about what accessibility should look like for you. Where I can reasonably make an adjustment, I will do my best to do so.
There may also be circumstances where a particular adjustment isn't possible within an online counselling setting. If this is the case, I will be open with you about what I can and cannot offer and, where appropriate, we can consider whether another form of support may be more suitable.
Feedback and contact
If you find any part of this website or my counselling practice difficult to access, please get in touch.
I genuinely welcome feedback about accessibility and will do my best to respond thoughtfully and make improvements where I can.
